Supply, Installation & Commissioning

DEDICOM has extensive experience in supplying data and telecommunication systems. We offer a full spectrum of solutions including microwave and fibre optic cable based systems, all managed from central management systems.

Furthermore, DEDICOM provides comprehensive system designs with project management, documentation, installation with FAT and SAT test with customers and a final commissioning acceptance test to prove that the system meets the customer requirements.

Installation

System Integration most commonly takes place at DEDICOM’S factory or at one of DEDICOM’S many partners around the world. Systems are integrated according to agreed systems specifications. All key connections and features are tested, ending with a stability test. A comprehensive Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is carried out with the customer participating.

DEDICOM can also make the installation at customer sites and perform a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to prepare for the final commissioning.

Commissioning

A final commissioning process ensures that installed systems operate according to the requirements specified by the customer. The commissioning and acceptance test is carried out by DEDICOM specialists together with the customer. All fibre and microwave links are tested and adjusted to match the operational requirements and the management connections against the central Management System are configured and checked. All key and protected connections are tested with advanced test equipment to meet the customer requirements. The final step in the commissioning process is a stability test, typically for 12 or 24 hours.
