For today’s and tomorrow’s data transport DEDICOM supplies state-of-the-art MPLS-TP networks, utilising high-capacity and compact form factor MPLS-TP nodes. Our networks are managed from a centralised MPLS-TP network manager that supports a wide range of traffic management, Quality of Service (QoS), OAM, and protection features that also makes it easy to integrate into virtually any existing packet network.
The network nodes support E-Line, E-Tree and E-LAN services with interface rates ranging between Fast Ethernet and up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. Furthermore, the nodes’ support of Circuit Emulation makes our solution ideal for interworking with and augmenting existing TDM-based networks, i.e. SDH, thereby providing a flexible migration path to a packet based core data transport network.
The MPLS-TP nodes exist in many different sizes and with several different module options for greater configuration flexibility. With the use of suitable pluggable SFP, SFP+ and XFP transceivers the nodes can either feed the network’s interconnecting optical cables directly or interface with (other) optical network equipment.
While the move is now definitely toward packet based data transport, DEDICOM also has long experience with supplying, installing and supporting SDH networks based on carrier-class, cost-effective, multi-service SDH transport equipment. Hence, DEDICOM is in an exceptionally good position to support you in getting the most out of your existing SDH network - and even augmenting it when that is the more cost-effective solution. With our expertise in packet transport networks we can also assist you in migrating to a packet-based network.
